Welcome to the 8 week MBLC course, suitable for beginners to develop a mindfulness meditation practice with the support of a group. We meet for 8 weeks, 2 hours per week. In between sessions, you practice and experience mindfulness. After 8 weeks you have started a new habit to benefit your health

About the event
Learning mindfulness is like learning a new skill, that helps you to become more aware of what is happening in the present moment. Our minds are busy, we think we can't stop thinking. Maybe thinking and overthinking, leads to feeling anxious, (very) stressed and unbalanced. Maybe you feel like life if moving fast, but you're not noticing much of it, life is busy. Mindfulness can help us learn to pause, slow down, be and be aware of the only moment we have. The present. We learn to regulate our breathing, creating mindful movements that change our way of living. We may enjoy life more, learn to be kinder with ourselves and others, develop some compassion, learn to 'just be', slow down. The 8 week course asks us to commit to the materials, practice at home, to gain most benefits. You can't predict exactly what benefits you will experience, but all practice and information are tested and researched for many years.
